It’s finished! The Bohemian Oasis Crochet Mood Blanket I started last January. It’s the perfect size for a lap blanket to keep me warm while I crochet something else during these cold winter evenings! I ended up making five rows with seven squares in each one for a total of 35 squares. It measures approximately 45″ wide x 60″ long.
I used the Bohemian Oasis pattern from Drops Design for my base square, but made an addition to it on Round 4 by adding a Front Post Treble Crochet around Row 2 on each of the 16 DC stitches. (The purple yarn working around the green yarn below). It added another dimension to it on both sides of the blanket.
I really love the size and the way it turned out. I used scrap yarns for this project and finished the border in black using the Flat Braid Join method by Carolyn Christmas.
Thank you for following along with my progress and hope you’re inspired to make one yourself. Happy crocheting!
Have a great day!
